Welcome to TheForum where you will find plenty of help and many sources of information.
If you look at the SSDC website you will find a source for the cables, updating software and firmware for the APB. RichG and Rikorocket (users on this site) provide the upgrades for the Pit-Pro.
The other thing that you will find is that there is much to learn and understand; the flood of information can be overwhelming.
