For god's sake moped!
Look at that Camero of yours and tell me that you don't like modifying!
I think the guv' just wants to know how to get his cars running smoothly and progressivly a bit more like real cars, rather than hopping and skipping all over the place.
THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH WANTING TO TUNE CARS!!!!
Tuning and set-up is very different to 'modifying' and I wish people would remember that. To me, set up would be keeping all standard parts but arranging them in the correct order
. Where ar modifying is swapping everything for Slot.It versions and a hotter motor. I can see that cost cutters wouldn't want to fork out on Slot.It bits, but they also do not want to fork out for a new car when their unprepared one strips a gear or hops out at high speed and kills your spectators.
Anyway, talk about leading questions and putting pressure on the man!
QUOTE Is it because you feel pressured into doing this by your slot car peer group?
Why don't you make a concious decision to not do it and keep your cars standard!
You're the one telling him what to do! Leave him alone to make up his own mind!
Rant over,
Lotus
