Just saw the start of R1 of the 2004 JGTC - not quite live but same day action. Nissan Fairlady Z, Toyota Supra, Honda NSX and one solitary Prodrive Ferrari 550 Marenello competing in the 500BHp class. A very nice looking line-up.

Any other manafacturers (other than Cartrix and their NSX) willing to take the plunge? A good way of gaining valuable market share in what must be a huge potential easterm market.

I've been suggesting this for ages.

Never mind the Far East, just think how many "Rice Boys" around the globe would buy street versions of the Supra, Celica, Fairladies et al.

I think the time is coming when someone else will jump in here, that Cartrix is going to look drop dead gorgeous in some of the liveries to come. I just hope it is one of the Spanish brands.

[Edit]
So folks no what we are talking about. English language option kinda top, centre.

I subscribe to the basic Sky digital package and Motors TV is part of that - however when I cancelled my subscription I was still able to get Motors TV (the only channel I lost was Sky 1).

Lots of live stuff incl NASCAR and motorbike stuff that does not get wathced but also live DTM, JGTC, ALMS, Euro LMS and the Le Mans 24hr which if I'm allowed I get to watch.

re JGTC - the Supras were dominant although due to some dubious decision the lead car (Supra drvien by a Portogese) had to do a stop go with 5 laps remaining leaving a Fairlady Z (driven by a 24 yr from NIreland) to win. The NSX and the one 550 were no where nor were the home grown drivers.

I caught a re run of the first race last night and I've got to agree there are some great looking cars taking part in the race series.

I've contacted a friend of mine in Hong Kong who imports model kits from Japan, to investigate if any of these cars are available in 1/32nd scale.

They would make an impressive Grid.

Regards
