Hi Keith.
This is not a Circuit Z model, it`s a bit earlier.
All Renault 5 police cars either came fitted with stickers, or else had a decal sheet included with the model (a lot weren`t fitted, hence all the plain blue cars you now see).
I`ve got a few earlier GT cars fitted with lights, but to be honest the effect isn`t that good & they`re a bit femme.
Cheers

Here`s another nice rarity.
The Alpine 3000 in dark blue livery. Unusually these cars had a yellow driver figure.

I`ve pictured the car next to the standard light blue version.

I only bought these two because I wanted the boxes.
They were in a pretty bad state, but were worth saving.
Both of the cars had their motors stripped right down & serviced. Bodies thoroughly cleaned & Autoglymed.
Replacement screen & tyres on the BRM.
Replacement headlamp, sidelights , tyres & (rescued) number roundels on the Porsche.
They look really good now.
Cheers
Kev.

Hi John.
The Porsche is a lovely model. It is identical to the first slot car I ever got back in 1968. & I`ve still got it!

That is a mechanical lap counter. It counts down from 40 to 0. A really simple piece of track that works well. It looks good & makes a lovely "pinging" noise every time a car passes - dead `60s!!

This might look like a standard Jouef Ferrari, but it`s not.
It is a Spanish built example.
The car is a lighter shade of red, & like other Spanish made Jouef cars the plastic is more brittle.
Always nice to get a Spanish Jouef car as they are very sought after.

Always good to have some spares Keith.

Here`s the last limited edition from Jouef. The dark blue Ligier from 1980.
You can see how dark it is compared to the standard blue.
