Here`s another yellow Mercedes.
Someone had done a tiny bit detailing in the past , so I finished it off.
What is really interesting about this car is the colour. It doesn`t show up on the camera, but it actually several subtle shades of yellow -I have no idea how, it`s not fading.

Here is the earliest Champion Motor Racing advert I can find. Taken from a slot car supplement which was included inside a 1964 Meccano Magazine.
It is the only time I have seen laurels around the "Playcraft" logo & is notable for the bold "Fab! New!" type.

I`ve had this car for a few years now, but I thought I`d put this old pic up it because it`s so beautiful.
It is a one off Peugeot 203 in 1/43 scale, she was made & given to me by super slot car builder Marlon Foakes (ex Tetra Rouge).

I won a Jouef Matra Jet "Gendarmerie" on Ebay last night - that cost £304 -needless to say our lass isn`t too impressed!

On a more serious note, a lot of Jouef cars are fetching big money now.
