This Jouef E Type is a real beauty.
All I had to do was polish up the body & put a new set of rears on. There`s not a mark on it.
This red livery is extremely rare.

Kev.

New Jouef addition today. Fiat 131 Abarth.
The last all new saloon design from Jouef.
Released in 1979. Not many about, but surprisingly cheap to buy.
Probably the best very late car they released.
Cheers,
Kev

I had missed that last red/black E-Type Kev - nice find! Hope you didn't have to pay the usual arm and a leg for the rare Jouef color combos!

I knew the Jag and Merc were considered desirable, and usually went for a good price, but was just blown away in last few years to see the prices some of the rarer color combinations reached!

Are those yellow wheels on the Abarth unusual for Jouef? Don't remember seeing them elsewhere....

That red Jag cost two arms & two legs Don!

Keep watching, I`ve just managed to get hold of an even rarer grey EType, which was the earliest colour available! It is very scarce indeed.
The wheels on that 131 are identical to the Porsche 936 & Alpine A442. A lot of the later Alpine 3000`s , Matras`, Lancia models had these wheels. I`ve even seen them on the last issues of the GT40,Porsche 904, Ferrari 250 & also the Renault 8 Gordini(!).
The main difference is Jouef decided to give them an attractive colour on the Fiat instead of bog standard grey.

Two new ones from the mid/late 1970s arrived today.
Both in unused condition.

First is the Alfetta 2000GTV. One of the rarer & much sought after late cars,a nice quirky looking saloon.

The Niki Lauda Ferrari F1 car. Very common, but not many still have the decals in such good condition. Mr Blobby driver aside, it looks very good on the track!

Some people will do anything to get out of marshalling duties.

Does that mean you now require a tongue activated controller Kev?
