Thanks lads.
Yes Keith & Bob, the cream hard top car is indeed cherry red.
The silver car is rare Pace & is also my favourite. She has a powder coat paint finish to give that lovely silver/grey appearance - you can`t use polish on her, it just brings the paint off.
There are other rare cars pictured, the yellow one being the most common. The red car with the black stripes is the pick of the bunch. It is an example of very early tampo printing , these models were expensive when new & were only made very briefly during 1964. The wife hit me with a frying pan when I bought that one!

Hi Keith.
Thanks mate.

No, I don`t think it`s a wrong colour mix. This car is a really strong turquoise colour.

This gold plated Ferrari F1 arrived today. In pristine condition. It is the best example of this model I have so far.

Cheers

Who wouldn't want a gold plated Ferrari in the mix.
Prime looking example Kev.

Nice Kev.

Funny, before ebay, I just kind of figured there was the green E-Type and the yellow Merc, and that was it... never really paid much attention to Jouef, and especially its color variants. Can't say if I noticed them at swap meets, because I wasn't really looking for that kind of stuff. Ten years ago or so, I was selling a yellow Renault Gordini, and luckily a friend told me to up the price - had no idea those were considered so desirable!

Now, I'm constantly amazed by the Merc and Jag versions that were released, and the prices some of them reach!

Kev that E type looks to be in pristine condition.
Very nice indeed.
Wasnt it Ferrari who once declared the E type the most beautiful car ever made.

Yes, the yellow Gordini is very collectable Don.
& the price of certain Jouef models are indeed on the up.

This car came boxed Bob, I don`t think she`s had any track time. I think it was Ferrari who said that.

Cheers
