<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Anyone can start a topic; you don't have to ask permission.
Just remember, though, that the more topics there are in the AAWSCC section, the harder it is for members to keep tabs on what is happening, and when, at the club. That is, the act of racing slot cars. Also, I personally can't see the point of having a discussion on-line between people who see each other every week. It doesn't leave anything for us to talk about on club nights.
OK, did not know that anybody could start up a section. Threads yes.
The trouble with race nights, and chatting is, you remember what you wanted to talk about on the way home. Too busy racing to have a chat, Tea break we can. But I was thinking more on the lines of. NOW, as it where. You think of something to say. so you want to air it then and now. Not wait for next weeks race.
If the subject is important enough, it can be carried on, on race night.
For instance. Pete, you know how to set a car up. To disuse this on race night, could take all evening, we would not get any racing done. A few hinters, on here would go down a treat. I may have something, one of you may what/ I can tell you about it here, and take it further on race night, start the ball rolling as it where.
I know we can start up a thread on a subject, but then our section on SF would get very large. Just one subject header, as I said 'Coffee Shop', it would just be one.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Hi Andy,
Got the spreadsheet from Dave (I must send you my Email address), how long did it take you to compile. Are you going to add any other manufacturers?
Keith, it took some time, and I'm still working on rev 4. As for other makes. I have started on Fly, and a SS on Motors, with links to photos. It's Ok knowing that some of what I'm doing is on-line, here there and way over there in the corner. But to have it there, on you desk top save a heck of a lot of time.
I have an SS on all our cars. with detailed information. heading are Make, Model, colour, weight, wheel & tyre size, pinion and gear teeth, ratio, width, length, WB, Track, Hight. etc.
There is also a Scalextric 2 x DVD set, that's over 6 Gig of data covering all cats, 1 to 52 + a heck of a lot of other info on Scalextric cars. Sets etc. This I'm not handing out as a free be. It cost me a few £ to gather the information. I need to recover that before I do. May have planes to start one on Pioneer, Ninco, we will see?
