Hi,

I am finding that my track slides on my MDF baseboard very easily causing problems.
Should I just use some of the Scalextric clips and hold in down in a number of places?

If you are using borders then I would just nail through a few of those and that way you are anchoring the track but still able to free it if you need to tackle problem joints or something.

or pop a few panel pins up against the edge of the track in a few places. Don't overdo it, as I found the track expands and contracts quite a lot, much to my surprise.

I use strips of GripMat. I've found they work best when placed under track joints, and for standard straights halfway along as well.

Will get my nail gun out and use a few email brads; maybe even cut a couple of small pieces of MDF as holders.
