Hi,heres an unusual K set from my museum made in Japan in the mid 1960s. The cars are 1/43rd scale Ford GT40S. They have metal chassis & gears. The controllers are the latest advanced design.
The cars also have modern can motor putting out plenty of speed.
The set comes all ready pre assembled as a figure 8. This set is not seen often. This company made quite a few other toys as well. Enjoy,Bernard

Interesting idler arrangement for the gears, wonder why they did it like that? Looks like a solution in search of a problem to me. Also interesting that they managed to squeeze in a motor that's frequently seen nowadays in 1/32 home set cars, not to mention the size of the guide! Ought to stay in the slot quite well, but I imagine the rear tyres wouldn't cope.

Richard.
