Has anyone seen any of the Kyosho 1/43 slot cars for sale yet?
On a French slot site there are pictures of a trade show featuring not just their cars, but also a track system(limited).
There is also the announcement of a wireless throttle for you modern guys.

Hi Kev, I get the impression from the discussions on the American forums that we might not see them until the spring. I keep asking at the local Modelzone, a Kyosho R/C dealer, but they have not heard of D Slot. But most of the dates mentioned in releases have been and gone, so we will just have to wait I think.

Hi Kev, just read elsewhere, these cars are going to be released in the US in December:

Porsches

917K & 962, $38 ea

911 £33

Mazda 787B $38

Audi R8 $33

Lambourgini Murcielago? $33

Others in February, dont know about UK yet.

looking at those hi-res pics on facebook i think the Porsche 956 and Mazda LMP are a little high, too much ground clearance. the details are awesome, but why have those cars be that high?
The 917K ist okay, but also the Murcielago seems high to me. okay, compared to a Go! car, they are still low.

There 3 different springs coming out for the suspension to give you different stettings.

Doing a test with one of the cars on Thursday with standard motor and the Pro motor so watch this space.

I reckon you should send one of the Porsches up North to see how it goes & looks on a proper old 1/40 layout!
Mind you, it might get lost in the post on the way back down ......

The finished ones look better and the Porsche will get wider back tyres.
