Interesting I don't see a theread dedicated to using other tools like routers or chisels on this forum so why should 3D printers need a special thread? I confess I don't print cars, its not my thing but I do spend time creating military models for FDM printing so I have a fairly extensive experience base. When I do have the rare print issue, then yes, specialist sites are the port of call. Slotforum to me is not the best pace for very specialist 3D advice,If you did much 3D printing you'd realise there's a whole lot more to it. Learning it takes time, a lot of it is empirical and different aspects need their own threads.
If I wanted to know for instance how to mix resins, how to print something bigger than the print bed, how to improve something, how to modify something...etc. etc. etc. you'd never find it here.
This is probably the busiest forum out there but when I need 3D help or wanting to benefit from others experience then I go elsewhere where the info is properly listed for all to find in the future.
