Evenin' all.
I was thumbing through an RC mag at the newsagents today and spotted a distributors advert for SCX which had a Lancia Delta Integrale in Repsol livery listed as the third of the "classic" series from SCX (no's 1 & 2 being the Abarths).

Wasn't going to buy the mag for the sake of an advert and couldn't rip it out 'cause that would be wrong.....now I can't find any trace of it on the internet.

Anyone got news on this? It looks pretty stunning in the advert

Cheers

Steve

PS There are "drawings" of the beastie on the net but I can't find a photo. The pic in advert looks so much better than the artists renditions....

Shouldn't be too long to wait now Steve! This was announced at the Toyfairs at the start of the year for 4th Quarter release. Now the Revell NSUs have arrived and I've got the Hornby and Cartrix historic GP cars, this is the next car I'm really waiting for!

I'm waiting for it too!

I saw an advert a long time ago in Spain of that Delta.
I wonder if SCX would bring other liveries too? Like Martini's?

Here's the only picture that I've seen:

But I think this is the drawing that you were talking about...

Looks awesome, I want one

Guys, trust me on this. The drawing in McLaren's post is an incompetant cave dwellers scratching compared to the photo of the real thing in the advert I saw. I've already demanded my local shopkeep put 2 aside for me lest I get all medieval on him.

I'd hazard a guess that an alternate livery would be classic #4.

Cheers

This model was listed a few years back by Hornby Hobbies to being produced, but supposedly dropped it due to it not scaling down properly
. Should be interesting to see what the SCX version looks like.

I'd be tempted by a Martini version.

Does anyone do a rally celica, a la SEGA Rally?

Which is the best WRX Impreza, by the way?

I know SCX and Ninco did a Celica like you'd like, but Ebay would be the place to find them, or contact pendle slot.

The Best WRX Imp.?

For no mags Ninco, for detail and mags scalex and the SCX is a bit of a dog but competes nicely with other SCX cars.

Yeah but depends on the track design and grip? Ninco for straight line but SCx around the curves every time for me.

Agreed. I have the Ninco, Scalex and Autoart Scoobs. The autoart one is great to look at, but nothing else tbh

noticed that no-one has mentioned the teamslot rally cars - I discovered these a few years ago and they really appealed to me. They are a little more specialised as several of them are Resin cars - but where else can you get a professionally painted resin car for uder 40 pounds, and they do the cigarette/alcohol advertising versions (not that I approve of smoking - pity I can say the same about drinking
)

have in my small collection of these cars the Martini Lancia - and it is superb !!! (along with the S1 Audi, the monte winning lancia fulvia and alitalia Fiat 131).

In truth - they have very good motors - favoured by the spanish for their 'magnatraction' type effects that perform as well as their SCX counterparts. However, the gearing is not good at all and will need to be replaced if you want to race them. I found that running them in worked wonders.....

thought I would post a pic of the teamslot Integrale - I am not sure how accurate it is , but as I have been a fan of the real car for along time and driven one for a time, the car looks right...... I like it!!!
