Hello all,

Really enjoyed last Thursday's meet. The LMP/GT format, I thought, worked really well and would be even better with an extra driver. I'm learning loads about setting up cars too.

Just a quick question about the next meet: it's a championship race, isn't it? Obviously, I've turned up mid-season, but I was wondering what round you're up to and what the championship standings are at the moment?

As far as I can tell we have only actually had 1 counting Championship round so far this year as we had a few SSDC issues

ps I thought the LeMans night was great, can't wait for it on the GT Track and with a few more running so we can do 6 heats would be great
and I have looked at setting different fuel levels for each class of car so should make it even more fun

I think I should be contemplating a wooden spoon trophy, it being he only thing I am likely to win this year

It was great racing, perhaps I need more set up on the car , can't be my driving

You and I are both n the sme position at the moment in the championship, doing a Norway on nil point.

As we have 2 new members and all the problems in the other rounds I would like to suggest next week becomes week 1 of championship
And we run it on pclc

Thoughts anyone?

Sounds like a good idea, at least I can then come last having run the race.

I guess it's the guys who actually ran in the first round who should have the final say on that though!

can I suggest that everyone is allowed to drop their worst score though, not everyone can make it every time !

Only thing with that is we need to make sure all championship races are the same each time

Any of the others want to chip in ?

I am ok for starting from scratch.
I think that round the software messed up anyway.
Remember there are prizes this year for first, second and third place in the club class.
Also thanks to martin there is also two scx nascars for one of the other classes as an end of year prize.

Or if the PB changes then SSDC would be OK of course (aparrently)

So the next race meeting is WEEK 1 of the Club NASCAR Championship

Maybe we need to race more than 2 times a month

Three times a month?
three times in months with 5 thursdays ?
every week?

I like the idea of only counting the n highest scores
