OK,brought to you direct from the Bat Cave,at little or no expense(no actual Bats were harmed in this presentation). Here's some pics of Chris's latest creation, with some help from me.

S'posed to be a BT19,but,some say not,and some say it's too skinny.Awaiting pics from the good Doctor himself to put me closer on the path of scale redemption. An overall body width would be just great(the Bats would thank you).

I thought it was a BT7. I took this picture at the 2003 Revival at Goodwood. It's early in the morning and I haven't got the time to double check so I'm not sure about BT11 at the moment.

A quick look through some publications did not reveal enough pics to determine if it is a 7 or eleven. David's pic of the BT7 shows the engine cover on that BT7 has the some oval holes that were used on the eleven. The later BT11 had two small scoops in front of the windscreen, but the first ones did not.

One of these was raced raced at Monza in '65 by the " famous" Giancarlo Baghetti!

That looks really cool but, will someone please, please make the 804 Porsche F1.

I took this at Lime Rock Vintage Races the other day. I took all the pix anyone would need to do a sculpture of it for modelling purposes.

Actually DK,send me what you got,I have one of those in the works already, and the two models I am basing it on are both glaringly wrong.

Probably the file was too large. You need to crop the pics as close to the car as reasonably possible, and save and send them as JPG or JPEG files, and Keep the total file size arounf half a meg per email.Hotmail doesn't allow files over 1 meg.

So,best to send a few at a time, and let me save them and empty out my inbox for the next lot.

That email is correct.

MMMM! Nice job Phil! There's a lot of life left in those old dogs if you know where to apply the mouth-to-mouth.
Original screen looks a little different- sexier shape, but there must have been a few variants.
Must resist urge to get sucked into another nostalgia project... stop. STOP!

Brabhams and Porsches

Hope these are some use. They seem to have come out a bit small! The Porsche plan comes from Road and Track of about 1962 The original is a 24th plan. I have added a scale bar of half inches. I hope the blueprint style reads OK

The picture is from the 1962 German GP at Nurburgring. It shows a different screen shape to the plan. The version to model has to be the French GP version..only F1 World Championship win for Porsche; Dan Gurney's first WC win ( I know about Solitude but that was a non-championship F1 race)

The Brabham plan is from Model Roads and Racing in 32nd scale. It has a scale bar on it. It's funny, looking back that at the time F1 cars just tended to be called The 1962 BRM or, in this case, The 1964 Brabham, apart from Lotus. The book "Brabham the Grand Prix Cars" by Alan Henry, quotes the works cars in 1964 as BT7's. From the plan the width of the emerging BWA version looks about right.
