I'm guessing this is on a table rather than on the floor?
Looks like quite a long reach to retrieve deslotted cars from the middle of the layout.
Not a problem if you don't mind stopping racing while somebody leans on the track or obstructs it with a long handled grabber to retrieve the deslotted car.
Needs some thought if it's to be used for the sort of racing where you don't want to stop for that.
