Hi,

To you guys that with success have designed your own flippers for the LC's:

What are the criteria?
How do you measure/model to make a good design that work well (in straights, curves)?
Why do you put the the pivot point and the solenoid where you put them?

Are there any rule of thumb that can be generalized?

Thanks,
B

Hi,

Based on urgent need, and the limited response in this tread until now, I did surf around until I found some nice old handdrawn sketches on a Aussie forum, made by some "Injectorman" fella;-)
Those drawings in combination with some one-on-one tutoring from Camber made things clearer.

Can't find the damn post now of course, but it was on auslot somewhere. Maybe you remember Injectorman, and can point in the right direction?

The Bruce,
Please email me one of the track sections requiring a lane changer and Ill draw up one as a sample to everyone. Ill show the process including the flipper base board cut out, pin placement.
Ive just whipped up one as a sample as I need ten active and ten fixed flippers for a project Im doing. Ill post pics soon.

Hi Rick

Please add me to your list of "Need Drawings".

Need the 7.5 degree and 12.5 degree straight flipper drawing - no rush.

Thanks Martin
