hello friends .
Here is my vision of the little Lotus XI .
Based on the 1/32 MMK's kit , I had some job on it ....
This car was engaged by G.Crombac french team and the pilots were Héchard and Masson.
Accident at the 4th hour of the race .
Hope you'll enjoy it . Best regards .

thanks friends .
This matt finish is done this way :
primer and car paint bomb
Gloss Mr Hobby varnish
let it dry and apply your decals
Then apply matt varnish by Mr Hobby in two coats
weathering job when it's dry and then two or more coats of the same matt product.
Forget the car some days ....
Then use a thin Tamiya polish again and agin to obtain the effect that you want ...

Mr Hobby is also known under Gunze name .

some more words ...
the chassis of this Lotus is the PYL/ PSK chassis for .....1/43th scale cars !
have a look here : http://www.proto-slot-kit.com/slotracing43.html
It's a very nice piece of work , very easy to work and recommended for small low cars .
Wheels are issued by Cartrix and the motor is like the Scalex for bikes but less powerfull .
Will put some pics soon.

I just love this hobby, the fact that you can make (if you are as talented as bigblock) something so awesome and then drive it around a track is the best.

Inspiring

cheers
