what I am really looking forward to seeing - is the Lola wth a Caterpillar Diesel engine......... !!! (Had lots of troubles in the prelims), and then also the Nasamax Cosworth which runs on Fuel made from Corn, and which for us antipodean's, has the added interest of a South African driving the car....
all in all looks like it will be interesting

oh and yes - the Corvettes are seconds quicker than the Ferrari's
, and this is just as the 'official' Ferrari team re-enters racing.....

LMP04,

The Synergy TVR done by Scalextric is the livery from the British GT series from last year.

They raced at Sebring this year and they were already purple. I rather like it. Purple seem to be a favourite in 2004 when you see the Veloqx Audi's.

Regarding a Fly Pagani Zonda, there is little chance given the low number of feasible liveries.

The Reynard / DBA / Zytek is another story. At least four liveries, I await from Spirit to bring us that car !

However, the big question mark remains "Who is going to make the Bentley winner from last year ?"

Coop,

It IS the 1997-1998 GT1 car, although in a slight revisited form. I think they should have stuck to the LMP one.

Basically, I think their idea was to be the only ones present in the GTP class given Bentley's departure. In a similar way, Sebring saw the return of a Lotus GT1 this year. They could have choosen a worse GT1 though ...

I think they only brought some modifications to the GT1 in order to make it fit the GTP class.

If you look at the following pictures, you'll be hard pushed to notice the differences between the 1998 GT1 and the GTP :

GT1 1998 :

Maybe you still had in mind the 1997 GT1 (the one done by FLY) which had a different front and rear bonnet :

QUOTE Have Panoz really gone back to the closed car?

The Panoz is a private entry and has nothing to do with the Panoz works, which are now retired from racing.
The father of Sebastien Bourdais is one of the drivers.

Dr. Pea
