Right so first year of slot rally nearly done and the track has been put to bed for the winter. Today saw the first run of the track in reverse direction. BAD IDEA. Where the cross overs were cut and designed to go one way that's the way it should have stayed. I would guess from what I saw that about 30 percent of the cars at today round of slot rally GB at Farnham had serious problems with these areas. They just wanted to go straight on instead of turning. Oh well, you live and learn.
Sorry to all those that had problems. You may be pleased to know it happened to me too.
I have mentioned it all year to those that are sick of listening, but for those that have been elsewhere i'll say it again.
The track is taking up storage space that I could do with so it could do with going.
Offers around £400 will be looked at and maybe we could reach an agreement.
Dimensions are 5' x 10' with a lap distance of around 70' a quick lap at the slot rally events was in the region of 20 - 21 seconds. An average would be approx 26s.
The track consists of 3 sections and fits into the back of a family estate car.
The track comes with all buildings and farm accessories.
Thanks for the comments guys. Sorry to those that are too far away.
Had some good responses, some not so good, but we won't go there.
I will PM those that have shown an interest.
I'm lucky enough to use this great track once a month and was very interested in how it was made. Simply awesome work.
This is part of the inspiration for my own SlotRally stage build.
Cheers.
Nik.
