Hi VOA, the product line is so obvious that they already do the gear and pinion, available and in stock at pendle and get-slotted for about £3, probably elsewhere too! Also a set of wheels & axles for £7....

It looks to be incomplete to me...

Didn't the 15 car have "Dan Gurney for President" bumper stickers on either side behind the rear wheels?

Yes a quick check at FW. The parts packages have arrived in the colonies.

Question...
I see a package of weights, a hop up motor, and a set of both the 10/26,9/27 gears, so one could dumb down the vette, or supe up the cobra. How about those chassis weights and the other motor? any comments, observations?

I just received my LE Daytona Cobra - excellent detail as expected - am awaiting the #2 GS Corvette to come in, but the acceleration & braking are much improved from the previous model.

After my disappointment with the Scalextric Ducati...I am now
again!!!

Just to let you guys know that the Monogram Cobra are now in stock in the UK.

The official release was the 14th June.

The packaging is comparable to Fly with a reproduction photo inside of the lid of the car in the pits. Also an autograph of Carroll Shelby is printed on the base packaging.

Detailing of the car is great as usual.

Also released at the same time is the Drivers and Pit Crew figures each painted to a high standard and add that period theme for the layout or in the cabinet with the Revell cars.

Are they a lot more money than standard releases over here?. According to Harry's review, $54 buys you one in the States, which roughly equates to about £30 so a very similar price to the standard models!

Whatever the price you may have to pay...the LE Daytona Cobra (w/the 3:1 gearing) is worth it...though the GS Corvette will (always) be quicker.

Revell-Monogram definitely have got their act together...can't wait for the NSU's (LOL)...actually the March's..
