Perhaps an inspiration or ahead of it's time?

Yep, I like that futuristic Lindberg controller, but the plunger seems to be set back quite a bit - wonder how it feels in the hand?

I have to wonder about Lindberg in general too, since the engineering quality on their cars doesn't really seem up to snuff! Finally got hold of a Cobra Daytona in 1/24, and it seems to violate every slot car engineering principle around - but it's still a fascinating car.

Their motors in these 1/32 F1 cars are pretty close to the VIP models from England, but seem to have even less oomph, judging by my Dyno results...
