i have a scalextric lola (mg/xpower), and i have blown up the lights on it.

what lighting kits are there availible in the uk? prefferably as cheap as possisble

yeah, i got no reply. this was 2 months ago, so i thought id post here! at the mment im probbably going to go with an overdrive kit, any suggestions as to better/cheaper options

Goose, email hornby again, and they will send you a new one for free. Scalextric's customer service is excellent.

Yeah, for free. You may have to send back your old, broken lights though. Go on the scalextric website, and the address is on the contact page (I think).

scalextric say that i can order parts from a model shop, i can get them from pendle for £3

I had faulty lights on 2 scalex cars (mg lola, and cadillac northstar)

e-mailed scalex, they emailed back saying 'post the cars to us', and they fixed them for free - very quickly too i might add

did mention that they were faulty, but still...... so i shall order them from pendle along with a new mag for the back end, probbably an mmrc/scaleauto whatever name u want to use. runs great with the scaley mag but i need some more grip to compensate for the sc07 i put in it about 15 mins ago!!!
