Hey Nik every race track has wheelie bins...You could always go old school and put some old oil drums wrapped in chequered flags in the garden?
Now THAT would be realism
Inox is a genius invention. I suffered with flatness problems with my old Scalextric Classic layout, I tried and tried and got it runnable but in the end I decided to got the routed route.
Thats a great and simple idea Nik. Effective too. Know what you mean regarding 1 job to another at the moment got nothing done on mine all week as my daughters staying with us for a while so I cant let the track down to work on it but hey ho.
I just about remember "whirlybirds" on the telly when I was a kid and as mentioned, love the gulf colours on it.
Hope a solution presents itself regarding holding it in place.
Wow Nik, Stoney Creek is looking so cool now, hope you're chuffed with it mate
No time to do anything with any of mine at the moment, family commitments, fixing daughters cars (actual, real life cars
), having grand daughter at weekends, you get the jist of it.
Keep up the good work.
Cheers.
Nik.
