I finally got round to getting some decal paper, and it works brilliantly.
I got it from Crafty Computer Paper. I chose clear decals for an inkjet printer.
Clear are fine for light coloured cars, for darker surfaces the white decals would eb better (But the WILL leave white border!).
The step by step guide both on the site and with your order reccomends coating the decals with clear accrylic, but as it costs a bomb I used nail varnish. It worked fine, and protected the ink well.
I tested this with an 'Infineon' decal for my scaley TT, cos I didn't want to ruin my 'Lucky Strike' decals that I'm go gonna stick on a Mclaren F1 GTR.
Heres a (crap) piccy:
Highly recomended
