I've had a request to post some pics of my LRDG (Long Range Desert Group) Jeep, it's based on a very rough A2M casting and uses the tamiya LRDG kit for drivers and detail parts. Power is provided by a Ninco go-kart motor, and the pick-up is via a modified Ninco drop arm. The eagle eyed amongst you may notice the German schmeisser machine gun alongside the passenger - this isn't a mistake the LRDG boys used to scavenge whatever weapons they could during sorties and use them against their former owners!

Phil... Excellent job, I like the drivers and the detail in the guns, it looks very much the LRDG part.

You just need a slot "Tiger" Tank for it to ambush

Hi Martin,
Funny enough I do have a 1/32nd Tiger converted for slot - sadly it's a King Tiger and not the Afrika Korps Tiger 1 which some units of the LRDG might have encountered.
