You will be quite surprised by this one I was.
I set up 2 cars for the forthcoming carrera shoot out and I was vey surprised by the results.
On my 50ft test track the modified Bently turned in a best time of 5.1 sec ,the Audi did 5.4 ,the diference was due to the braking of the Audi being poorer than the Bently ,(manufacturing variances)
I then tested a new out of the box Bently with magnetraction .Did it run away from the other 2 ?
No! It didnt,Granted it was faster but only by .1 of a sec turning in a 5 sec lap.
Despite having magnetraction It was obvious that its standard running gear left a little to be desired in the traction stakes ,the trued up tyres and loose body of the "blueprinted " car were a match for the magnet on the standard car,The "blue printed"car was also a lot more predictable to drive and any mistakes were easier to catch.
