Manage to get it on video.
  • Placed four cars on the track
  • New race - Orange car did 10 laps, others stayed in the pit
  • Parked orange car in the pit.
  • Left the cars on track with the result screen on.
  • Waited for 15 minutes ( I have a suspicion that time can be a factor)
- (now watch video)
  • Left the menu to start new race.
  • Choose "Exit" then "Exit from race"
Now the orange car suddenly gets power at tries to drive out, and if it was not held back by the other cars it will take off and crash.

This was a one car race. If we race more cars, then also more cars will take off.
This is not a new issue, I have had this problem since before version 1.5.

I agree with Greg, this is not a PS issue, as the track is constant full powered in digital.
But somehow the car gets a "GO" signal when I go from one menu to another.

Win10 - ARC pro
Additional info:
PB is now modded from 0.3 to 0.4 but the problem was also there before.
We use mainly C8515H and SP15b decoders, and they all behave the same.
The track is boosted with cables, and INOX3 are also used.

Intermittent bug for sure. I run the app from my IPad and also my IPhone. Yesterday I ran a race using my IPhone and the bug showed up again. Using the same race settings I ran the same race from my iPad and I had no problems. Could this be a Bluetooth connection issue ?

Possible bug?

When racing v Pace cars, in this example 1 driver and two pace cars - if the driver wins but the second place (pace) car is also on the last lap, the pace car is declared the winner In the summary of the race when all cars have finished.

Second care does not run as driver or pace car

Set second car for Driver 2 and it will not start race.
Calibrated Fine.
Just before click “Start Race” test the controller and wheels spin.
Lights out and no power when squeezing controller.

Set second car for Pace Car will not start race.
Calibrates fine.

Just trying to get to the point of the problem......

If you turn on the Arc Pro , but leave the App and ipad, turned off , can you still run the cars. Will car one, run on controller 1, will car 2 run on controller 2, will car 3 run on controller 3 etc

This is worth checking that the controllers and the ARC Pro are correctly paired up. If this works fine then it is likely to be App related. Ive had a couple of issues myself with the App , but they have all turned out to be user errors

Thanks for response, @gmac118: I did turn off everything and the controllers worked the correct cars. I have no doubt there's operator error in there, but I can't tell where it might be.

Thanks for response @Magic: I don't know if I properly set up the Car ID. The only place I see Car ID is in general configuration as a default for information and color. I didn't change that. I don't see anything in the manual that tells me where or how to set up the Car ID. I guess I assumed that if the calibration worked, then the ID would be consistent. Assuming this is operator error, can you direct me?

Ok, @Magic, I just realized there is Set ID on screen to start race. I followed those directions.

Car One Red: when pushed Set ID button, it immediately jumped back the the prior screen. iThe car DID respond to the controller, however.

Car Two Green: Prepare for RAce>>Set ID>>Set ID>>Next>>Set ID...jumps back to Prepare for Race. Car does NOT respond to controller

Guidance?

If you could share a screen capture of your race set up screen before you start the race, it might help us tell you what you're missing. Do you have drivers and cars assigned to all of the cars you're wanting to race?

Thanks for your help, @Klitgaard

Closed Magic. Connected controllers using only the ARC PRO powerbase. Red controller spins wheels on McLaren. Green controller spins wheels on Audi.

Turned on Magic. Set up each car. Calibrated in setup. Tested controllers and spun wheels of both cars.

Went to Create Race>>Quick Race>>Select Cars and Drivers

Product Rectangle Font Screenshot Parallel

When this screen visible, red controller spins McLaren wheels and Green controller spins Audi wheels.

Click Start Race.

When get to this screen, red controller spins McLaren wheels. Green controller does NOT spin Audi wheels. Appears to be something wrong in this transition.
