This topic is for requests.

What next:
- Incidents
- Qualify
- Weather
- Statistics

What next later:
- Multiple device support (each driver may use a dedicated device to see his personal information only)
- External sensor support through WiFi (maybe a raspberry/arduino device which control sensors and communicate with the app)

There was mention of a track call, will that be in a update?

Thanks again!
Track call is yellow flags.
Hi Magic
Just had a quick go (too busy at work for anything longer).
Very, very good so far! BRAVO.
One request: Would it be possible to move cars up or down the list of cars? (Now they appear chronologically as when entered). Therefore when adding cars in the future I can keep similar ones together.
(Putting them in folders would also be great - so Grand Prix cars, Touring cars, Rally cars, could have their own folder)
CHEERS.
Hi Hunt,

it's already available, but on android some chars aren't rendered correctly. On the right of each car/driver pair you have 3 buttons:

- Move Up

- Delete Pairs (remove from grid)

- Move Down

the first and the last position have only 2 buttons (delete and move down, move up and delete, respectively)

I'll fix chars issue soon.

In one of my old screen you may see what I mean:

Or, are you meaning on the database section???
Yes the database section. Ordering and/or organising it would make it quicker and easier to select cars.
Just an idea.
time trials , to log times for different cars if that is possible for the lone racers.

Fantastic!
Your response time is amazing.
Your app just gets better and better!
Was wondering about sounds. Scaley app has car sounds as you pass the start/finish line? Also I like the sounds of the tires being changed when you are in the pit area. The sound of a impact wrench. Just a thought.

what do you mean?
as a lone racer with loads of cars my fun is putting fast laps and trying to beat the time, so need a log of times and car if that helps

Yes. Me, too! Glen

I added sounds for endrace and tyre change. Honestly sounds for crossing the SL isn't good to hear, since it's delayed... and it can override the Fastest lap voice...

What do you think? Are you sure that you want it?

Maybe I continue to misunderstood what do you mean..

but, if you setup a race with 0 Laps and 0 time limit, you'll have an endless race... with lap recording.

If you mean, instead, to have a final stats.. I've to do them. it's in my todo list. I have to take time to solve the AIR-ONE connection issue. Now that it's solved, I may continue to add features, and fix minor issue.

As far as sounds I see what you mean. Pit sounds and end of race should do it. I'll try it as soon as possible.
Thanks!
Hi,
First of all, congratulations on getting an app working across the 3 powerbases and with nice graphics and logo. I'm sure Scalextric will be over the moon to see your support following their positive decision to release the protocol. Thanks for the time you have devoted in getting this out so quickly.

A couple of minor observations:
The app crashes if it loses focus through minimising, switching to another app and back or going to standby mode and back. Feedback submitted via Google.

I'm not sure if it's intentional, but one thing I notice (on a 5 lap race): at race start and countdown, 1 lap is already showing for each car and 5 laps remaining .
When a car first crosses the S/F line, I don't notice anything to confirm it - "laps remaining" is unchanged and no reaction time or lap count change.
When the car passes the S/F line for the second time, the lap count increases by one (1 to 2), but the laps remaining reduces by 2 (from 5 to 3). A bit confusing.

Also, when the winning car passes the S/F line for the 5th time (and correctly showing 5 laps), I get the "last lap" and "race won by xxx" audio messages together (one after the other).

Apart from the above, I have to say I prefer to start at lap 0, with the first lap counted when the car has actually completed a full lap (after passing the S/F line for the second time) - most slot car lap timers function in this way. Indeed, at launch, the Scalextric app originally started races at lap 1 but later changed to starting at lap 0.
Which method do others prefer?

At first, I used to starts with lap 0 (which is the way I prefer). then someone else asked to starts with 1.
