Hey Magic! Had a chance to run the app for about 4 hours of racing yesterday. Three things came up:

1. Is it possible to have an option to display a static Last Lap instead of the current lap time (that counts up as you are completing the lap)? We found ourselves wanting to know what our last lap time was so that we could see how fast off of our best time it was.
2. Is there a way to reset after a short that does not require reconnecting the app?
3. Is it possible to have an option to change the background color of the bar for each driver? If not, how about a way to enlarge the font a bit? Some of the colors are just not visible from afar on the black background.

Other than those things, it worked wonderfully!

1. actually, you have the current lap count, the best lap time and the last lap time.

2. what do you mean?

3. you may switch the text color to a brightness one. main menu, hamburger, global configuration, then change text informations from CarID to Fixed.

about the size, which device are you using?

Currently using on iOS. Displaying on two 26 monitors.

1) Mine displays Best Lap, Lap Count, and a time counting up as current lap completes. Would like to see the last lap time.
2) If a short in the track happens, like someones braids crossing over the rails, shorting the power base, the app either crashes or loses connection and has to be restarted.
3) Yes, I see the adjustments for the print colors. Any way to also allow adjustment to the background color in the bar (currently only black).

1) are you using the latest version?? I show the current running lap time only during the qualify session. During the race, you have the latest completed lap time.

2) oh yes, I have to handle it.

3) ok, I 'll add a new color configuration in the global one where you may choice the background color.

Thank you for adding the Last Minute and Last 30 Seconds speech. Is it possible however to change the speech to "1 Minute Left" and "30 Seconds Left" instead of it saying "Last Minute Of Race" and "Last 30 Seconds Of Race" It sounds too much like like "Last Lap Of Race" and sometimes gets confusing in the heat of the last minute. And maybe change the last lap speech to "Final Lap" It just sounds better and is quicker.

Agreed! I can not state how much I enjoy the fact that we have direct conversation with the developer, and he hears and responds to questions, comments, suggestions, and concerns.

Does anyone think the Mph is kind of silly? "Read out ... avg. Mph 5.9" wouldn't it be more realistic if the Mph was to scale? Just my 2 cents. Magic your doing above and beyond! Thank you!

Can it give mph in scale? Magic your doing above and beyond. But if this is possible imo it would seem to make more sense.

The official app has both scale and real. You might also want to add track length and avg. speed then.

Max speed,is the real speed calculated in a give point of the track (the 350cm of the powerbase, taking the time the cars cross the powerbase from start to finish). The value you see is a real value. Why I have to scale it? and scale from which factor?

Avg. Speed, which is the one you have on the offical app, is an "average" speed in order to display this, the app ask you for the length of the track.

about scaling.. a speed of 200mph could give more sense? yes, if you are using a Lamborghini.. lesser if you are using a Fiat 500

anyway, the offical app how scale the speed? which factor does it apply?

huh?, a 350 cm powerbase? (350 mm)

I think the distance between the sensors is a bit shorter than the entire track piece, not much but a bit (20mm?).

I see your point about the Fiat but it would the same if I calculated the value my self.

The scale should be 1:32.

You could simply add scale as a number chosen by the user and default it to 32. Are you going to add track length as well?

188.8 mph seems more realistic to me then 5.9 mph but I'll go with everyone else. I'm just happy for a great app. Magic it must seem daunting, with all our requests so thank you again.

Hi folks... just to add, the distance between the blade sensors in the ARC powerbases is 300 mm (not 350mm). I think this would be a better length dimension to use for base transit speed calculations. Also, I like the idea of a user selectable scaling factor which defaults to 1:32 - JayEs suggestion gets my vote!
