Well... Like most of you guys know I'm a true racefan, and a photo addict.
I can look for hours at photoseries of races! And I can amuse myself very good just by photographing slotcars so I came up with an idea.

Well my thought was... maybe we could do a little topic about photographing our slotcars in a way you found on internet of the 1:1 version of the racecar... or even better... a photo you took at a race... If we like it, maybe it's an idea for the next photocompetition?

I have a small example. It's not very good, because I did it last night in the garage, and we have very bad lighting there at the moment, and the wife had allready asked where I was (you know the situation... i'm there... in five...
). And I didn't take the time to put sand over the thingy where the figure stands on, it all had to go fast... Most of my pictures are from a better quality. But in that way, you'll see what I mean.

What do you think? Not for a competition... but just for the fun of it...

Nice work guys! Keep adding photo's!
I really like this theme!

I was a little busy with the track this weekend, but I'll try to make some 1:1 based slotrace pics this week!

Some of my trials: (does it show I love ETCC's?)

To bad I couldn't focus the camera on both the BMW and the Alfa:

(Edit: seeing the pictures under eachother now... I realise they could be much better... I think I'll print out the 1:1 photo and hold it next to the camera when I photograph, instead of running back to the pc all the time...)
