They do say that a good big un is always better than a good little un.
As with all very recent Renaults, I have mixed feelings about the Mégane's schizophrenic appearance. To me, the rear end actually looks great, below the waist, but the juxtaposition of panel lines and window shapes above, particularly the rear window itself, shows about as much appreciation of finesse and style as would a short sighted baboon with severe learning difficulties.
The individual parts are fine, but the resultant blend is an incongruous mess.
