Well I did some digging in the deep dark depths of the forum and came across another thread like this last posted in 2004, So 3 years have passed and many a new member have joined. So let's see the update of your car(s)....

I will get a Photograph of my new car, But first this is my Old Escort which was sold 2 days ago

It's a 1988 Ford Escort 1.9l 3 speed auto... (It was registered the day I was born
!!)

Now I have a 1994 Pontiac Grand Prix with a 3.1L V6, Sadly It's an auto but with 240bhp (Some tuning done) it can hold it's own against some sporty cars.

New arrival for my wife. We had a heinously unreliable VW product that has cost us thousands in the past year, so as soon as it was fixed up we sold it to pay off the overdraft we ran up for, among other things, a replacement engine.

Wanted something that felt as good and went and which suited wife, dogs and sprogs. Thanks to the combined effect of people calling them ‘Mondeos in drag’ (try fitting Ford parts to one, they don’t fit except for the switchgear) and ULEZ, it was possible to get this one owner 50mpg Jaguar for pennies. All around happy days…

A fine Halewood product, Im sure you'll enjoy it enormously, much derided back in the day, probably more appreciated now, Id guess mechanical parts will be ok,don't know much about how where they get tinworm though .

The dreaded ULEZ/expansion will have little effect on pollution, swell TFLs coffers enormously and put paid to many vehicles with years of useful life left in them, an environmental fact conveniently ignored by the money grabbing looney lefties FFS.

Love my hot Camry...3.5L V 6, 272-275 BHP depending on fuel grade (engine sets its own timing)

That's where the front plate SHOULD go! Why do dealers stick 'em high on the bumper?

Needs a bigger rear sway-bar, but otherwise she's just perfect.😀

Needs a bigger rear sway-bar,
Did that on my Subaru. I felt it was too floppy.
Whiteline was the brand I bought....got the adjustable one with three settings.
Don’t forget about the links either. I replaced them with the Whiteline brand as well.

Mercedes A driver for decades here. Currently the A200, very smooth car, quite fast but not thirsty at all. Ideal cruiser for long trips, like here when I made a 2800 km roundtrip to the west coast of Ireland (Connemara).

Good car in an interesting country, Merc. Ireland is a fab place to visit apart from the weather. I was there 30 years ago and not once in several days did it stop raining.

Well it was my second visit, 10 years ago in Donegal and now picking up my daughter in Connemara / county Galway. I noticed on the Atlantic coast you can experience all kinds of weather in one day: rain, wind, then a burst of sun and all of a sudden a sea fog coming out of nowhere. Beautiful country indeed!

Welcome to my mid-life crisis. When you turn 50 you’re supposed to buy an Aston Martin or a Porsche, but I work in motor sport where the majority of jobs/employers require you to operate at a loss in exchange for doing something which you love.

Also, because that rodent Khan is planning to act like a highwayman every time you cross the M25 threshold, I only got pennies for my Alfa.

So I bought this…

It’s not as bad as it looks. The chavvy aftermarket Union Flag add-ons are practically falling off already and the roof stickers seem to use a glue as weak as their UV protection. Still not easy to get off, but an achievable goal I think.

But beneath these horrors, the parking dings and the fug of tobacco left by the most recent owner lies a car that’s done just 60,000 miles in 17 years. And I won’t get robbed for going to the office.

Slot car funds may have to be diverted towards Euro Car Parts for a couple of months, but it will be worth it! Genuinely puts a smile on my face every time I go out in it. Smashing.
