Hi guys!
Does anybody knows the different between the Mercedes CLR and the Mercedes CLK beside the spelling?
Do they look so much alike that I could use a Ninco CLK as a CLR from Le Mans 1999 with some new decals?

the clr was much more sleek in appearance. very much lower and more sharply angled at the front. search racingsportscars for pictures of the two. clr ran at le mans clk ran in fia gt.
the scalextric clk is likely closer to the clr in appearance.

There are three different cars :

The CLK GTR that raced only in the FIA GT championship in 1997 (team AMG - D2, Warsteiner, CLK Sportwear liveries) and 1998 (team AMG (D2 and Warsteiner liveries) and Persson (Originale Teile livery)), with a V12 engine, as done by Ninco,

The CLK LM, powered by a V8 engine, seen in the FIA GT championship (team AMG only, D2 and Warsteiner liveries) as done by Scalextric, and also at Le Mans (D2 -Originale Teile livery) (decals are available),

The CLR, quite different car from the LM, only raced at Le Mans and quite famous for trying several times to reach the clouds in the sky, undone in slot format so far. The livery was pure silver without any sponsorship.
