I was sent this today by Tony Adamowicz:

"A Memorial for Milt

We are sad to report that our friend and colleague, Milt Minter, passed away on December 23, 2004.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 8, 2005 at 14835 East Olive Street, Sanger, California.
The contact there is Ken Franck at 559-696-5307.

Donations in lieu of flowers may be made in the name of the Milt Minter Memorial Fund or to the Hinds Hospice and should be sent to: 1104 North McCall, Sanger, California 93657."

Milt was one of these men who did not need to explain why he was so good. He just did it on the track.

That truly is sad news. I had the pleasure of watching Minter race many times during the 70's. He was fast, aggressive, and entertaining. The sport has truly lost one of the good guys.
