Hey there!

So who is going?

If you do visit, please pop along to the NSCC stand and say hello to myself and JEXY1, it's always nice to put names to faces and catch up with old friends.

We will have the last couple of year's editions of the Journal on display so you can check them out before joining up


Also on display will be a number of recent slot car films including La Course GT, Zwaans Viper and a all new SCX Digital one. If you haven't had a chance to check these out yet this is an ideal chance


I'm not really sure what I am after yet with regards to new cars, I think I'll just see what takes my fancy on the day. I do have some birthday money burning a hole in my pocket so it should be fun. What is everybody else on the look out for?

Look forward to it mate, although I do have a bone of contention with you.

Remember last time we met and you told me I should cut my hair off? Remember telling me I would race quicker if I did?

You lied!!! I'm still dog slow
However I do look at least 10 years younger now

I need two sets of Reprotec abarth front wheels, or some 1/32 axle stands!

Will be there, no specific wants, just going to see if anything catches my eye!

Actually, now I give it some thought, a Miticos mk1 Fiesta would be nice and a Renault 5 possibly.

Yep its my round - my advice for short hair has been superseded by recent research from the Tucker institute. Long dreadlocks interwoven with irradescent braids are the definitve hair soln - your results will improve by 75% as proven 100% in our survey of 1. You'll win more as it puts others off esp as you swish your hair

Finding the location of the Mk swappie is a slot initiation test. Even when you find it you can't believe it is there.

An initiation test of an altogether tougher sort - even for veterans of Le Mans' camp sites - are the toilets at the venue. Best left undescribed - and unused - so go before you go.

Oh and, let us not as usual all be there yet fail to wear or say anything to make ourselves known to each other.

I for one will be keen to meet as many of you as possible. To make my identification easy I'll be the one buying slot cars, okay. See you on Sunday.

I should be easy to recognise as I will be wearing my "Man City" shirt, even if they do lose to Crystal Palace on Saturday. We City fans stand by our team, through thick and thin (more often than not it's thin).

I have a list of cars to seek out for spare parts only.

I have mantra that I will be repeating, "Don't buy any more shiney things today."

If you see a sad little figure mumbling to himself as he drifts from table to table don't be afraid, it'll just be me, trying to be good.

Actually, I'll be helping behind the Slotcity stand most of the time - another tactic to prevent me spending too much wonga.
