Not sure the response would be good enough for real driving... but its really there isn't it? Now just bluetooth the headset and you have a weird and wonderful race car control. All up to the second the secretary walks past you in that short skirt

The response time you can see in that video looks way too slow.
Maybe you could train yourself to do it quicker?
Maybe it would be easier to train yourself to move your trigger finger or thumb in the necessary response time?
Or, as the guy in the video says, use TWO mind controllers to compete. Clearly, mind control against a person with a normal throttle would be silly to even try. But, as he said, imagine two of those with a larger layout. That would be cool.
Let's take it a step further .... add a HMD (head mounted display) aka VR glasses & a head tracking unit.. very cheap these days + a small camera mounted to the car with 2 servos that respond to the head tracking unit pitch roll & yaw) & you got yourself a hell of a ride.
used to race a guy a few years back from hamilton (his name escapes me)
he no controller on show and his whole body used to follow the car around the track with his eyes bulging willing it to stay in the track
of course on closer in spection he had a controller in hand but behind his back
but looking across the room at him it seemed he did by mind control
