Hello All,

A rather obscure question, I wonder if anyone has any experience of completely stripping a Scalextric Mini Banger.

Can it be done?

This is rather embarrassing to request, but I can't seem to fathom out a way to remove the rotating guide and the motor (the two parts causing the grief) without damaging the model!

I know this sounds strange, but there is some logic for this request!

Any help would be much appreciated.

Bodies no problem, sussed - it's the pesky guides, don't want to knacker the wiring (did it before) & I haven't got a soldering iron.

Chris, i'll nip into Robert Dyas and grab one when the next time I am in Woking, thank you for the tip that sounds ideal for my purposes. I only require a soldering iron for fixing wires.
