Has anybody in the UK received theirs yet, as I'm still waiting for mine. They appear to have been available in Spain for a short while now.

Flaws and all, I'm a sucker for GT40s - might not be perfect, and it isn't, but it's an interesting variant!

After yesterday's post that I put up:

QUOTE Has anybody in the UK received theirs yet, as I'm still waiting for mine.

I got home last night, and there it was, together with the latest magazine.
I must say, a very nice model indeed, and will only go to enhance my collection.

Any guesses what next year's car might be ?

Please, someone, post some pics of this beauty!!!! From all angles.... I have yet to see it from behind. I my opinion it looks more right than the Scalex Mk II. It has got the right curve on the rearparts! The Scalex Mk II doesn´t have that slope of the rear-fenders. (Am I making sense?)

Well, when I renewed last April, the cost was 118 euros, which works out currently to around £83. For that you get 12 monthly magazines with free gifts and the car, if you choose option B.

The other option is to pay £67 (Gaugemaster web site price) for the car only from a UK dealer.

QUOTE All I can say to that is "You get what you pay for"

The Racer magazine and the cars that go with it are very poor indeed !!
What I mean by that is, the Miniauto cars are proper representation of cars and are also fully detailed.

Yeah, you've got a point there mate

???

In the past it seems as the Mini Auto release has been nothing more than a standard release car with a special insert.

My question to someone who knows is:

'Is the silver no7 GT40 a Mini Auto ONLY release, or is Fly releaseing this car to the general market in standard packaging with a standard catalogue number?'

Some one please advise!

Thanks Ken R
