This years Mini Auto magazine suscription car is the silver Graham Hill GT40, shame Fly have not included the bug screen and mirrors that this car ran with, but looks sharp anyway.
Shame the shape of the car is just as screwed up as the GT40, since the actual execution is splendid.
May be I will send a pair of glasses to FLY for their pattern maker who appears to have lost his way.
QUOTE Has anybody in the UK received theirs yet, as I'm still waiting for mine.
I got home last night, and there it was, together with the latest magazine.
I must say, a very nice model indeed, and will only go to enhance my collection.
Please, someone, post some pics of this beauty!!!! From all angles.... I have yet to see it from behind. I my opinion it looks more right than the Scalex Mk II. It has got the right curve on the rearparts! The Scalex Mk II doesn´t have that slope of the rear-fenders. (Am I making sense?)
Well, when I renewed last April, the cost was 118 euros, which works out currently to around £83. For that you get 12 monthly magazines with free gifts and the car, if you choose option B.
The other option is to pay £67 (Gaugemaster web site price) for the car only from a UK dealer.
All I can say to that is "You get what you pay for"
The Racer magazine and the cars that go with it are very poor indeed !!
What I mean by that is, the Miniauto cars are proper representation of cars and are also fully detailed.

In the past it seems as the Mini Auto release has been nothing more than a standard release car with a special insert.
My question to someone who knows is:
'Is the silver no7 GT40 a Mini Auto ONLY release, or is Fly releaseing this car to the general market in standard packaging with a standard catalogue number?'
