Help I hope I haven't got the bug.

Think I'm reading to many of Trisha's posts

Tire Wheel Vehicle Land vehicle Car

£10 from my local Art/model shop, I also got the Corvette C3 for the same price. I thought about the Opel as well but said no.

I think i'm safe from a VW abyss as my abyss already has Airfix engraved all the way down.

24 sets to date and at least 95 cars, with the MRRC ones and that's without the body kits..

Mind you every now and then the words Jouef and Champion appear instead of Airfix.

Only about 150 cars but just 7 sets and some very incomplete.

I may have some bugs but please don't find a cure.

I wonder why we all buy these kits and never build them? Is down to time or space?

While aircraft kits I can see that to a degree it could be down to space as a built kit takes up al lot more room than the box it comes in. With cars, depending on the scale the box takes up more room than the car so why don't we build them?

There again if all the car kits sold had been built we wouldn't be able to get all the old kits to convert to slot cars. Just wish I had bee buying cars in stead of aircraft years ago and of cause not sold them on ebay.

Both of my Beetles are now siting in the shed waiting for the wind to go away so I can give them a coat of primer, Airfix in Grey and the revel in white, NO not white as it will end up as Herbie, red, red, red primer.

Years ago near the service station I used to work lived an old boy and he had kept every car he had owned since he move in. There was reported to be about 20 cars, if they needed replacing he just left them in the garden and bought another car.

Ken, The Pink Kar chassis that I did for Laurence have a wheelbase of 74.5 - 75mm and appear to be a good match to the Airfix body. They are to short for the Revell body which appears to be 77mm.

Laurence, if you let me know the wheelbase and the motor you want to use I would be happy to print you a plastic chassis. With the front wheel spacing I could also add wider front axle brackets.
