I really don't understand why so many people seem to have problems with the Moto GP bikes! On my own 42 feet Carrera track - the bikes aren't made for the Scalex tracks I think - I do achieve laptimes around 6.9 seconds right ootb. I don't expect the same laptimes as my Scalex GT40s do, because a bike is not a car!

Because of the fact that some people don't believe me not having problems racing my Scalex bike, here's a 30 sec. video (10MB) I took with my digital camera on my 43 feet track. I raced 100 laps in 12:30.87 which means an average of 7.5 sec/lap.

Here are some times to compare with:

Carrera Ferrari F1(ootb): 8:38:23 - an average of 5,19 >> my fastest car
Ninco Porsche 911 Turbo(ootb): 12:12:92 - an average of 7,33
Fly Alfa 147(no magnet-weights): 12:30:06 - an average of 7,5

are these Scalex bikes and which scale do they have? Can't remember having seen them elsewhere.

Sorry for my bad english but I couldn't find the expression "box stock" in my dictionary!

If you wanna know, whether I modified my bike, the answer is no. The bike ist still in the same state as on the day I bought it.

Sorry to hear that! Try the bikes either on Carrera tracks or at least Scalex R2. The latest result on my 43 feet track: 11:56 /100 laps.
