It is a really cool idea, I hope they will work on regular slot track. If so I want all of them.

I would think that Hornby has thought these out well enough that they will work quite well. I am looking forward to seeing the first pictures of them. I used to slot drag race at a commercial track and several guys had slot pro stock drag bikes, and they were all belt driven with a toothed belt, I wonder if Scalextric will go this route or possibly some sort of shaft drive.

I hope they have figured out away to make them lean into the corners, maybe some sort of set up like the Ninco cars with the steerable front wheels connected to the guide, something to where when the guide turns the bike leans maybe? It will be to fun to see them as they develop. Great looking Carrera bikes Thomas.

If the bikes will not lean then why would Scalextric even bother to do them? I am pretty sure in order for them to make this idea go that they will be able to lean in the corners.

It will be horrible if they go around the track straight up and down, they need to lean into the corners to make them cool, or else they will be a dismal flop in my opinion.

I agree VFR if they don't lean they aren't worth buying, let alone even Hornby spending the time and money to make them. They have to lean! Please Hornby make them lean!
