Hey Everyone,

My Skoda is somewhat broken. On further inspection the motor, when given power, refuses to turn unless i give it a small twist and then its away. Until I stop and then restart and then, once again, it needs to help to get going again. Before I do anything rash like spray it with WD40 or something like that I though it best to ask the experts for some advice. Or is it time to drop a new engine in there and have done with it?

Well, a new motor and a bit of soldering and hey-presto - goes like new. Thanks for all the useful advice folks. Think I might have gotten a bit carried away though, since I went straight on and replaced the motor in my battered old scoobydoo too
