Hi all,

Just taken possession of a great looking Mr Slotcar Mclaren F1.

I read somewhere a while back some people had experienced issues with the front wheels catching, it seems I have the same issue, wheels catching on the underside of the main shell. Even adjusting the front wheels away from the bodywork as far as they will go does not relieve it! and this lifts the guide way too far out the slot.

Does anyone know the best remedy? and why oh why is the car sold like this? its not usable out the box!!!!

Best remedy is to complain to the suppliers and the manufacturer and ask them for a solution.

I was more than happy to make it work, small front wheels and low profile tyres and it drives wonderfully.

I think you'll find they were manufactured wrong.
