Yes - tell them it doesn't matter how good their cars look if they drive carp because the chassis is poor, the tyres don't grip and the motor is totally wrong (ridiculous high revs) for the kind of classic sports cars they make.
I am the only one who has no problem with the way MRRC cars run? I race on a wood track (HPSCC)and with a few minor adjustments-change of braids etc-no more than on any other RTR slot cars,they run well. MRRC is (are?) one of my favourite makes right now. They produce a interesting range of cars and a good spares back-up.The new owners seem to get stuff out quite quickly too.
