thanks for info have purchased allum key from a well known shop same place that i purchased car from but the .075 only fits brass collet not ally spur gear not sure what to do next if i wish to replace spur still can not get off shop said send back and they would sort out but at my expense on postage

i purchased MSC-Competition Metro 6R4 a while ago but have only just got it out of the box to give it a run well thats what i expected to to this is my first purchase away from scalextric or scx and i must say how dissapointed i am the spur and pinion do not mesh how do i fix oh buy a allum key .75 silly money still can not get to work that well as you can only move brass collet not the spur gear has anyone else had this problem out there

yes but the .75 allum key only fits the brass collet not the one that the spur gear is on that is the one that needs adjustment if i move brass one it rubs on the motor spindle the grub in the ally spur gear holder is not .075
