1997 R33 series II (facelift model)

I spent 7 years collecting the parts and 3 years building her

The only aspect of the build that was outsourced was the ceramic coating of the turbo manifold and the intercooler piping, otherwise EVERYTHING else was by me - the bodywork preparation & topcoat, engine & driveline blueprinting, overall presentation.

There are small details that were performed in order to make it stand out, these include deleting the rear boot lock and antenna on rear fender, grinding off the moulded 'SKYLINE' lettering on the rear garnish and replacing it with bold chrome badging from the later R34 model....

LOL Kids and their hot rods these days. I tell ya!

Same effect. Only now it is a marketed thang.

Wash and wear ... and infinitely practical, never goes out of style!

It is indeed practical as I built this car to drive and with 650hp at the wheels, I do track days with it frequently, so in anticipation of the repairs to the body work that's unavoidable, it'll be much easier to touch-up with this black rather than a nice glossy topcoat finish.
