Starting work with plaster. For future lake.

And by applying some pieces of plaster, made with molds from WoodLandScenics. For more details.
For now it looks like a big mess

thank you very much! I'll do my best!
cars "speed racer" are carrera143. CarreraGo. Were analog, but I digitized it years ago with digital chips.
here you can see the kit: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Carrera-Go-Speed-Racer-1-43-Scale-Slot-Racing-6-3Mtr-Track-Boxed-RARE/273527321667?hash=item3faf7fb443:g:RnsAAOSwPIhaDsYH:rk:5:pf:0

Here... in 2014, you can see the process:

I sacrificed two F1 cars with chips, to put them in the SpeedRacers.

Cars look great...Some 1 needs to make em in 1/32...was my favorite cartoon growing up. I wanted to convert a plastic model but could only find 1/24 scale models.
After a long time, I managed to find two. One actually, the RacerX was customized from an Mach5. But it's 1:32.

The problem is that at the moment, I do not have chassis, nor chips left, to put these cars to run.

some day they will run! and with lights and pilots

I had a problem with the track, and I did not post here the conclusion of the Lake!
Hope you like it.

*the lake is "Glass Varnish", which was poured over crumpled and painted paper.

That lake looks fantastic, could be real water.
thx

For me, the trick was with the simple painting to give a deep effect and the paper slightly crumpled,

without corners. The varnish softened the crumpled paper, and gave that movement effect.
