Hi,

Thanks for looking.

Yes the bridge is too high.... all seemed well when I laid it out and supported it. I used exspanding foam to support the wood and to form the rock edges, this raised the surfice about 3 inches more than I hopefore. All connections work well and are connected.

Just updated all the pictures (50+) and text will be added tonight.

Regards

Hi,

Agree, no room for splitters!....lol.....

Best to use a high bodied car, most Hornby cars work fine.

Guess I'll see when I am the proud owners of 4x4 SCX Xsara & Focus's!.

Thanks for looking!

Looks pretty good to me, dont you have trouble with cars de-slotting on those angles???

Is the whole scenery expanding foam???? And it doesnt take up that much room by the looks of it................Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Hi There,

No the cars work well.... they obviously have 'issues' if stopped on the 'kink' where the rear wheels lift up off the ground, apart from that, they make the standing start on the slope well.

The basics are expanding foam which is blooming expensive and the covered with plaster or paris, then that has 4 coats of PVA glue to loose the 'webbing effect', which was then spray painted.

The run offs are real sand, a covering of PVA glue, sprinkling of Sand over it, allowed 12 hours to dry then coated with PVA glue to seal. Works and looks great!.

Size is perfect, although I am currently getting grief of the old lady....'I want my dining Room back!' - No chance love!.

Regards

Enjoyed looking at the photos

Maybe an odd piece of carboard under the kink going up to the bridge may softern the angle.

Otherwise, its looking fab!
