Well I decided it was time to show you guys what ive been doing the last few weeks and in truth its not much although some of the stuff is a kind of off site work in progress.

Anyway heres some pics of the table that my track will be sitting on the front straight will be around the 10ft mark so not bad for a home circuit.







The back section along this pic will be incased in a mountain so as to make a long tunnel.

And very sensible to place the monitor first, rather than having to figure out where to put it at the end

Thanks Andy and yes it will be 2 lane tomy track using the timing sensors you made me.

I'm not sure it was sensible it was just something to do one day but having the monitor up even tho the pc isnt hooked up to it yet at least shows how it will look.

If the paint drys I'll try and lay the track on the table later just so everyone knows what it looks like.

Echo stalled a bit as I had some personal stuff happen which took my focus but we are hoping to be up and running in the new year.

Lee said he may come to the next meet I said if he finds out which chassis and cars your running I'll help him sort something out.

Looking good, I'll be watching the mountain section closely and we can swap tips as I'm just about to do mine (when I can get a few hours free in the garage)

I'm currently trying to find a cheap supply of styrofoam so that once the track is all wired up and fixed down i can start building the tunnel and mountains.

Hopefully he will come and join the various HO threads on this forum at some point, he has already said he wants to come to the next national. Right, must go and walk the poor dog, my birthday tomorrow so there won't be time to do it then, and saturday I intend to be in not fit state to do it

What sort of styrofoam are you after? The white bead stuff can usually be picked up free from your local white goods merchant (at least that's how I got mine). The bubble expanded insulation stuff you might try talking to a local building supplier or insulation guy. I can't source any of that around here, no matter how hard I've tried, but hopefully you'll do better.

Hello Lynne yeah its nice to finally have something to show everyone.

I'm looking for the high density stuff which as you say is builders merchant type stuff so I'll have to pop to my local one.

I'm actually going to try frocks aswell I'm just waiting for my mum to retire her couch then I get the cushions to use.

I must admit there's 1 or 2 corners that are not as easy as they look and you have to think about what your doing.

I'm in need of your help people I need some chequered flag material or ready made flags but needs to be 13ft by 2.5ft or 2 flags 6.5 by 2.5.

It's for the front of my track table.
